Multi-colored eggs from happy heritage hens. They dust bathe in the sun, chase bugs, scratch the earth, and otherwise feed entirely from pre-soaked cullings of our own morganic grain and dry beans operation. Taste the difference!
HOW TO MAKE HARD-BOILED FRESH EGGS EASY TO PEEL:
While you do not taste the vinegar or salt, they both pull the skin from the eggshell so it peels easily without tearing or sticking. For 6 cups water add 1/4 cup of vinegar and 1 tbsp of salt. Add eggs when boiling and reduce to a simmer for 10-14 minutes. When done run the hard-boiled eggs under cold running water, further ensuring that the shell separates from the membrane. Voila, FRESH hard-boiled eggs!
