Looking for some on farm fun while learning all about Garlic. Natures Garlic Farm hosts (1) Day Garlic Growing Workshops Down on the Garlic Farm. Workshops are held on Saturdays & Sundays during March and April, (excluding Easter Sunday) from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Folks can bring a bagged lunch and enjoy the day, (water & soda is provided). You will learn about seed selection, preparation, field or garden preparation, planting techniques, care while growing, proper time to remove garlic Scapes, identifying when to harvest, proper harvest techniques and storage. All skill levels welcome from novices, backyard gardeners, mastergardeners, farmers, growers, folks who just want to spend time down on the farm learning about Garlic. Each participant receives (1) pound of Garlic.
