Started in 2005 by Tony Synarski and Bobbie Mohler, Fungi Farm is dedicated to providing the highest quality products available in the mushroom industry today.
Fungi Farm brings you naturally grown, vitamin-rich shiitake mushrooms as well as shiitake mushroom logs for growing mushrooms at home. Fungi Farm’s shiitake mushrooms are grown with care in the oak and alder woods of the Cascade Mountain Range, until they are ready to enjoy or they find their way into your garden.
Our shiitake mushroom logs are produced only from hand selected oak and alder trees and are cut, cleaned and inoculated at the perfect time of year to promote high nutrient levels in the wood, ensuring a long life and prolific mushroom production for years to come.
Unlike store-bought shiitake mushrooms, which are grown in sawdust, shiitakes grown on logs according to their natural life cycle develop much richer health benefits. Log-grown shiitake mushrooms are full of protein, b-vitamins and amino acids that help to bolster the immune system. Fungi Farm grows natural shiitake mushrooms as well as shitake mushroom logs for sale that you can add to your vegetable, herb or flower garden. Shiitake mushroom logs are easy to care for and grow easily, with the shiitake mushrooms already inside the log, ready to fruit. With sunlight, water and open air, one log will continue to bear mushrooms year after year.
