Magnesium oil isn't really oil; it is water-based but it feels a bit slippery! The spray delivers magnesium transdermally. It can cause itching or tingling so if you find this to be the case for you, spray on the soles of your feet. Alternatively, you can dilute the oil 50% with distilled water to help eliminate itching. Usually the discomfort goes away over time.
